Sorbet Events was born from My Wedding Planner, a Toronto-based wedding planning company founded in 2001 by Joanne Fessenden.   My Wedding Planner focused solely on weddings, however as clients' requests to plan not just their weddings but brunches, showers, dinners, reunions, and parties continued, changing our name seemed a logical next step.   Weddings are still, however, our passion and primary focus.  

Sorbet Events is the life-long dream of Joanne Fessenden to produce distinguished events that reflect each client's individuality, through inventive artistry, and creative nuances within budget.   Joanne is educated at both George Brown College and Ryerson Polytechnic University (Toronto) in Hospitality.   She has worked in innovative and upscale restaurants, resorts and hotels in Canada and overseas.   Known for her meticulous attention to detail, uncompromising service, and smart, inventive style, Joanne established Sorbet Events where she could follow her calling by making your event a fantastic reality.
